Hello, I am Dr. Ghyath Alkhalil, I grew up in Damascus, Syria where I attended dental school at Damascus University completing my Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree, I moved to the United States and attended Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine ( BUSDM) and obtained my Doctorate in Dental Medicine degree, I furthered my studies and completed one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at BUSDM. I practiced as a general dentist in Massachusetts for 5 years and I was a part time faculty member at BUSDM Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. I developed a special passion for endodontic treatment while practicing as a general dentist and I decided to go back to school, I was accepted as a resident into the world renewed Endodontics program at BUSDM where I obtained my Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Endodontics managing complex endodontic cases, I am a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics , being a board certified is the pinnacle of endodontic education (only 20% of endodontists are board certified), I am also a clinical instructor at the Endodontic program.
I cofounded Hanover Endodontics in 2012, I am very passionate about saving teeth. My goal as an endodontist is to provide successful, painless, and pleasant endodontic treatment for my patients.
I always strive to take continuing education courses and try to implement the latest evidence-based practices and techniques to improve the outcomes of endodontic treatment
I live in the south shore area with my beautiful wife and wonderful kids, I love spending time with my family, I also enjoy cooking ethnic cuisines, traveling, reading, learning languages and singing to my patients while performing root canal treatment.
